President Trump Recognizes Heroic First Responders
Yesterday, President Donald Trump awarded the Public Safety Medal of Valor to two Capitol Police Special Agents and three Alexandria Police Officers who exhibited extraordinary valor as the first responders, to the Alexandria, Virginia, baseball field shooting on June 14, 2017. The President expressed deep gratitude for the heroic efforts of the first responders as well as prayers for the victims.

President Trump Donates Presidential Salary to Department of Education 
This quarter, President Trump will be donating his salary to the Department of Education. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos thanked the President, “The President is committed to our Nation’s students and to reforming education in America so that every child, no matter their ZIP code, has access to a high-quality education.”
